A collection of Masonic papers and research: Shawn Eyer researches the history, ritual, iconography, symbolism, philosophy, and praxis of Freemasonry. He has lectured widely at both academic conferences and Masonic symposia. He is the author of dozens of articles on the subject, and is the editor of Ahiman: A Review of Masonic Culture and Tradition, and of Philalethes, North America's oldest independent Masonic education journal. He resides in the Washington, D.C., area, where he is the Director of Communications and Development of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
